After their annual St Patrick's Day gigs in and around Boston, the Dropkick Murphys are again hitting worldstages. Check out their site (www.dropkickmurphys.com) for European tourdates.

The Breakdown reunion at the upcoming, annual NY Superbowl of HC is a 1-off. There wont be a European follow up to that Superbowl gig as previously rumoured.

Chris Cornell, Good Charlotte and others were recently in South Africa as part of some large Coca-Cola sponsored festival.

Blast from the past. Tennessee's Koro's early 80s thrashcore has been released on cd by Sorry State Records. The album 'Speed Kills' contains the famous '700 Club' ep and also some unreleased material.

collaterallife

I decided to start this blog in an attempt to have a blog that just talks about music (HC, Oi, streetpunk, rock) - what's new, whta's expected, what's happening - without any chat about life, politics, religion, sex, food, cars, sports,... - there's enough of that somewhere else. Just an informative exchange of news on the music we like.
It might work, it might not work. Only the future will tell.
ME - as the blogger creator - might sometimes write some column about the music (and again only about the music).
That's it. Enjoy, join, participate or don't. It's a choice one can make.

pennywise

new Pennywise album "Reason To Believe" is out. It was (still is??) available for a free download via their myspace page.
